OX Digital’s relationship with MfM Australia (formerly Meals for Mutts) started back in 2018. Over the years we have supported their growth and challenges to slowly move the overall brand to a cleaner and more reputable brand.

Website Development

Our focus was to design a user-friendly interface that aligns with the brand’s goals. Our approach combined strategic planning, full copywriting and responsive design.

During the Development Phase we spent additional time writing and organising content to achieve SEO objectives.

Product filtering system

We designed the MfM website with a focus on long-term usability and intuitive navigation. To simplify the experience, we merged product categories This approach reduced redundancy while keeping navigation clear and efficient. 

We also introduced a detailed filtering system within each pet food category, allowing customers to quickly find products tailored to their pet’s dietary requirements, such as Grain-Free, Gluten-Free, and Single Meat options.

Dynamic Customer Support Forms

These forms streamline communication and ensure detailed, error-free data collection. 

By incorporating dropdown menus, radio buttons, and date pickers, the forms reduce input errors and guide users effortlessly through their submissions. Conditional logic dynamically adapts the forms, making the experience seamless while optimising data relevance.

To enhance accuracy, we integrated the Google Maps API into the address fields, ensuring validated and precise address entries.

Digital Engagement

We planned, wrote, designed and managed Meta Ads for campaigns on general brand awareness, product awareness and educational awareness resulting in significant paid search traffic. 

Our Inbound Marketing Strategy (education strategy) covered many pet related topics to be posted on the blog and promoted via EDMs (Direct Email), social channels and ads. This process has kept the brand in front of customers and has been important to build trust.

Search Engine Optimisation

Our monthly Digital Marketing Support service covered a year of Search Engine Optimisation after a significant website upgrade. This gave us a large amount of pages to optimise with high value keywords resulting in exceptional growth in the first year.
